There are a multitude of platforms that help develop your affiliate marketing business. After you decide the niche you will focus on and the audience that you will target you will need to utilize things such as social media platforms, sales funnels, email responders, and content schedulers. Some of these things can wait, but we will talk about the first and most important things you must have to be successful.
First, you need to learn how to do this business effectively, There are several programs to choose from, but I will only speak to the one I believe is the best and most cost-effective. I use Home Business Academy, otherwise known as HBA. This a community of liked minded people that want to help you to be successful. They offer you teaching modules on funnel building, email marketing, and using autoresponders, how to drive traffic, and they build your first funnel for you so you can get things started right away. The all-on-business package they offer is $25/mo and it includes your funnel builder so that you can build as many funnels as you want.
They recommend Get Response email marketing platform for the autoresponder and it is free to get started, but to keep the automation you will want to buy a package, I started with basic and it was less than $20/mo. This package will be all you need for quite a while and when you do need to upgrade you should be making lots of money by then as evidenced by your email subscriber list size. You can, also, delete subscribers that do not engage and save having to upgrade by freeing up spots for new email subscribers. You get up to 1000 subscribers, Unlimited newsletters, email scheduling, autoresponders, website builder-10GB, Unlimited Landing Pages, Integrations, and API including in the basic plan.
This is a good beginning to get started promoting affiliate products and you can add more platforms once you start earning that will help you make the process more passive. At first, it will take a lot of time to learn and build. Just know that you will not get rich quickly, but you have the potential to make enough to replace your full-time job if that is your goal. Patience is key and the thirst for knowledge. Join Facebook groups and buy tutorials that you feel are going to help you learn and not break the bank. Again, all of this can be done for free, but some things are just easier if you are willing to spend a little money and invest in yourself. That being said, I don’t recommend spending thousands of dollars on gurus promising the world. I just don’t think this is ethical and I feel they are getting rich on our dreams. When it comes time for them to deliver on their promises they seem to fall short.
